We have a block of 14 lock-up garages/storage units conveniently located on the outskirts of Altrincham Town Centre. As with our units at our Oldfield Brow and Stalybridge sites, these are located on a triangular plot of land within an established residential area.
As you can see, our Altrincham garages are overlooked on 2 sides by numerous terraced houses, with the 3rd side being the Altrincham to Chester railway line. A number of our exisiting tenants reside in the immediate vicinity and this, coupled with them being overlooked by so many private houses, greatly enhances the security of these storage units.
With regards to sizes and capacity, most standard garages are 8 feet (2½ metres) wide. Our garages in Altrincham are quite unique in the fact that they are 9 feet (2¾ metres) wide and 15½ feet (4¾ metres) long. This ensures that they are suitable for all but the largest of cars. Used as a storage unit, this equates to a very usable 140 square feet / 900 cubic feet (13 square metres / 26 cubic metres) of extremely usable space.
As the vast majority of our tenants tend to use their garages purely for storage, we believe that for the price we currently charge, this amount of storage space represents particularly good value for money.
